Nick Jankovic B.Eng MIE Aust. started his career as a structural engineer at 'The Institute for Earthquake Engineering' in the former Yugoslavia, region known for its very strong seismic activity .

Nick Jankovic B.Eng MIE Aust. started his career as a structural engineer at 'The Institute for Earthquake Engineering' in the former Yugoslavia, region known for its very strong seismic activity .
Nicks main field of interest was in earthquake safe design of commercial and residential high rise buildings, industrial buildings and bridges. After spending a decade in earthquake engineering he moved to Germany where he was for the next seven years, working as a structural engineer, site supervisor and quantity surveyor. His preferences still stayed with high rise buildings, commercial buildings and hospitals .
In 1997 he moved to Australia where he has been accepted as a member of "The Institution of Engineers Australia" - Structural college. Since moving to Coffs Harbour in 1997, his main area of work has been in residential houses, having completed different stages of documentation (working drawings and structural design) for several hundred residential homes. Clients have included private investors, owner builders or professional builders. The company was established in Coffs Harbour in 1998 . In 2003 company moved to new premises at 42 Moonee Street, where the company is still located.
